Sauk Centre man charged with vehicle theft
Roberto Raya-Park, 24, Sauk Centre, was charged in Morrison County District Court with one felony count of theft of a motor vehicle. The charge stems from a June 30 incident, when the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a 35-foot motorhome (RV) being stolen from a residence on McGraw Lane in Morrison County. Minneapolis man, New Hope woman charged with drug sale
La’Veal O’Neal Allen, 38, Minneapolis, and Michaela Karon McKinney, 36, New Hope, were charged in Morrison County District Court with two felony counts each of first-degree sale of controlled substances. In addition, Allen was charged with one felony count of possessing ammunition and a firearm with a prior conviction of a crime of violence. Randall shows off cool cars at the 11th Annual Randall Car Show
The city of Randall ended its Fourth of July weekend in style with the 11th Annual Randall Car Show, taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 7. Dozens of cars, antique to modern, were parked near Highway 10 for attendees to admire. The event was sponsored by the Randall Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Curtis-Olson Post #9073. There were multiple classes of cars, including one each for rat rods and motorcycles and many classes determined by when the car or truck was manufactured. Trophies were awarded to one entry of each class at 3 p.m.

In other business Monday, July 8, the Pierz City Council: • Approved a concrete permit for Clint Poster, a fence permit for Guy Anderson, a building permit for a new construction home for Kloss Homes LLC and a permit for the installation of a mobile home at the Pierz Mobile Home Park LLC in a vacant lot with an attached deck with a wheelchair ramp for Mildred Joyce; and • Approved pay application #2, awarding contractor Kuechle Underground Inc. $486,518.66 for the continuation of construction projects in Pierz.
