Kohl’s department store in Springfield will be one of the retail chain's 11 locations in Illinois to add a Babies 'R' Us franchise. Kohl's recently announced that the first Babies 'R' Us shops will open next month and will continue opening through the fall. The foundation invites applications for its Seeding the Future Grants, which support efforts that accelerate change in conditions and systems transformation through coalition and base building, grassroots advocacy, civic engagement, community organizing, and public policy development/change.
