One injured in Morrow County accident with Amayala Wampler
MORROW, OH, (June 20, 2024) - One person was injured in an accident with a driver who allegedly ran a stop sign on June 20 in Morrow County. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the unidentified victim was driving a Chevy Traverse that was hit by a Jeep Liberty driven by Amayala Wampler that went through a stop sign at County Road 170 and County Road 25 at about 7 a.m. in Harmony Township. The driver of the Traverse was taken to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
New divisions announced for teams
The OHSAA recently announced divisional assignments for fall and winter sports, with there being a lot of changes. In many team sports during those seasons, the number of divisions has been increased based on the number of schools offering those sports. In the fall, both boys’ and girls’ soccer will have five divisions and volleyball will have seven. During the winter season, both boys’ and girls’ basketball will now have seven divisions, as well.
