A motorcyclist led State Police on a high-speed chase in Franklin County on a stolen bike, resulting in a crash and the motorcyclist escaping, according to filed charges. Allen Keesey, 43, of Chester County, faces felony charges for receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking, flight to avoid apprehension, and fleeing or attempting to elude an officer. The Buffalo Soldiers whose graves were found at the playground and basketball courts at West Nesquehoning Park in Easton were honored there Saturday. The Buffalo Soldiers were Black troops who served in segregated units formed after the Civil War mostly for duty in the West. The ceremony had quasi-military ceremonies such as a rifle salute and showed renderings of what will happen to the park, as well as a monument to be placed at the Rose Garden in Bethlehem.
