Texas Fire in Latah County determined to be human caused

KENDRICK, Idaho -- A wildfire burning 45 minutes outside of Moscow, Idaho has been determined to be human-caused.

In a Friday morning update from the Idaho Department of Lands, the Texas Fire grew overnight to 1,564 acres burned. IDL gave no other details as to how it determined the cause.

The fire is near Kendrick and 10% contained.

Evacuations are still in place for areas around Cedar Ridge and Texas Ridge Road.
