    Woman goes viral for sharing ‘medical binder’ she takes to doctor’s appointments

    I have EDS ,I was referred to an endocrinologist who said to me "who told you you have Ehlers Danlos syndrome... your MD? your rheumatologist? " I said "A geneticist" his response was "Oh, well I'm going to need his name and what hospital he's affiliated with" which I readily gave him!!! His tone changed with me after we cleared that up! We had a good laugh about my bendy fingers and he sent me off to the next specialist! I have a thick folder similar to her binder. it has saved me a lot of money and time.I took it to the geneticist with me, he thanked me for it at the end of our appointment. It simplified everything. That geneticist is the only physician that has shown me true compassion! This lady isn't your average patient 🦓 She's well educated on her condition and sick of being neglected.Many doctors have told me that I probably know more about it than they do!That alone makes getting help for this illness incredibly difficult ....I think her binder is brilliant ❤️💯

    when you're dealing with multiple doctors and none of them talk to each other or give you another thought once you leave their office, you NEED something like this. I am living this nightmare myself right now! Doctors can't be bothered to actually read anything or care about you so you have to do it yourself!
