At the Unadilla MX National for Round 9 of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, Florida’s Jalek Swoll made history by securing third place overall, granting the Triumph Factory Racing team and the TF 250-X their first-ever podium in the United States. This podium is Swoll's first since his overall win at High Point in 2021 with the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team, making this accomplishment even more meaningful as he continues to find success with a new team and machine.

As Triumph enters the world of motocross racing with a brand-new machine and team, the journey has been marked by both highs and lows. Swoll addressed these challenges during the post-race press conference, saying, "For me, it's more like just shaking the bike down, really. We've never been to any of these places, so we don't have any data... We can do all the laps on the practice track, but it doesn't resemble what a race day or race track can give you."

Swoll’s season highlights include a fifth-place finish at the 250SX Showdown in Nashville during the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series, where both coasts compete in the 250SX class. He finished 8th overall in the 250SX East Championship.

Prior to Unadilla, Swoll’s best outdoor result this season came from the first round at Fox Raceway, where he finished fifth. Despite the potential of his new machine, he faced a mix of good results and mechanical issues throughout the season—expected hurdles for a new team entering the demanding AMA Pro Motocross circuit.

Maintaining a positive outlook has been crucial for Swoll as he navigates this inaugural season. Reflecting, he shared, "I've been close a lot this year, found myself in a lot of positions where I could make a podium happen. Some things didn’t go my way this year to get on the box earlier, but I've always been close, which has driven me all year."

This podium finish is a significant milestone for both Swoll and the Triumph Factory Racing team. "It's awesome, I feel like I've been on the other end of things not working out for me. Obviously, I want to get on the box straight up and not just because somebody went down. But to come out here, put two good results together, and get on the box, it's awesome. It means a lot for Triumph too, especially in their first year."

Swoll currently sits 8th in both the 250MX Pro Motocross standings and in the combined points for the SuperMotocross World Championship Playoffs, which kick off in September.
