'Nothings broken, was a bit worried about my neck for a little bit' - Max Anstie Crash Update 2024 Motocross of Nations

One of the riders to watch for on the weekend in his home country and the big winner from 2017, Max Anstie, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing and the MX2 rider for Great Britain, crashed hard in the early laps of Moto 1 in the 2024 Motocross of Nations at Matterley Basin. Nothing appears broken after swapping through the uphill roller section and landing on his head from the brutal hit.

Amazing weekend at Matterly getting to race back on home soil is not something I get to do very often these days! Really enjoyed my time with the fans, family and MXGP paddock. It didn’t go our way this year for team GB! After qualifying P4 in the RAM Qualifying races, Great Britain was in a good spot ahead of Sunday's racing. Tommy Searle (MXGP) and Conrad Mewse (Open) were Anstie's teammates, and they would finish 12th overall on the weekend. Searle would finish P12 in his class and Mewse P6.
