why wouldn't you replace them if you got it that far apart. or disassemble

You can only stress parts so much and they fail. Too fuel engine runs about 15 seconds total and does less than a thousand rpms loaded. Yeah it makes 11000 horsepower for 4 seconds or less and then has to be rebuilt. They started making road cars into race cars and people cry about the reliability
