I passed a cop with Cruise control on, Then some knothead thought She Could do the Same with a loud Exhaust and Got Pulled over.

I've fought a "pacing" ticket in court and won. No lawyer needed either. How? First and foremost, I asked the judge to ask the cop if he had a degree in physics. See this place doubt with the intelligence of the officer in the judges' head. He stated he did not. Doubt placed. I then asked if he timed my car traveling in a set amount of time to find its speed? He looked dumbfounded. Then I asked if the timing was done to the car between two known landmarks and dividing the distance between them by the time taken? Dumbfounded again. I also asked if speed differs when changing lanes (which it does) , in this case, I changed lanes multiple times legally. He couldn't answer, and it was thrown out. Remember, many cops have a GED and are easily outsmarted outside of their realm of grunt. Sure, every once in a great while, you'll get a cop with a thought process the others don't have. But they are basically drones. Never roll over just to pad their revenue coffer.
