A stunning 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 Fastback, one of the most iconic muscle cars of its era is offering collectors the opportunity to own a fully restored piece of American automotive history. This particular example, finished in Wimbledon White with GT500 side stripes, underwent a no-expense-spared rotisserie restoration between 2010 and 2013 and remains in pristine condition today.

This GT500 Fastback is one of just 2,048 units produced in 1967, and it retains its original 428 cubic inch V8 engine, which was expertly rebuilt by Jimmy Tucker of Holman Moody, ensuring peak performance. The restoration process was thoroughly documented, with over 3,000 photos taken throughout the rebuild. The car also comes with an extensive collection of paperwork, including a Marti Report, a two-inch thick restoration book with receipts, CDs of rebuild photos, Shelby invoices, and documentation from the Shelby Research Group and SAAC Registry.

The car’s exterior has been restored to its factory-correct Wimbledon White, complete with functional hood scoops, a rear spoiler, Shelby badging, and the signature GT500 side stripes. It rides on 15” 10-spoke aluminum wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires, adding to its vintage muscle car appeal. Upgraded suspension components, including heavy-duty coil springs and an anti-roll bar up front, along with leaf springs in the rear, ensure this Shelby handles as well as it looks. Front disc brakes and rear drums provide reliable stopping power, with the braking and suspension systems replaced during the restoration.

Inside, the black vinyl interior has been reupholstered, featuring front bucket seats, a folding rear bench, and a center console. Period-correct details such as the AM radio, woodgrain steering wheel, and rubber floor mats provide an authentic driving experience. The dashboard has been fully refurbished, with a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and additional gauges for fuel, oil, and coolant. With only 100 miles added since restoration, this GT500 shows a total of 59,338 miles on the odometer.
