Richard “Dean” Kauffman, 91, Goshen, died Monday, July 15, at Waterford Crossing Health Campus. He was born September 19, 1932 in Topeka. He is survived by two sisters, ClaraMae (Don) Gingerich of Kouts and J. Arlene (Dennis) Schrock of Florida; a brother, Kenneth D. (Carole) Kauffman of Marion; his daughters Jennifer (Jeff) Longenbaugh of Middlebury, and Cynthia Kauffman of Chandler, Arizona; one granddaughter; and one great grandson.

In revealing the 2024 home football jerseys on ESPN’s “First Take” on Friday morning, the Irish rolled out arm sleeve patches of the interlocking “ND” logo in gold.
