Gold standard: Notre Dame football adds shiny sleeve patches to 2024 home jerseys
SOUTH BEND — Notre Dame football won’t be wearing its heart on its sleeve this season, but it still came up with an eye-catching addition. In revealing the 2024 home football jerseys on ESPN’s “First Take” on Friday morning, the Irish rolled out arm sleeve patches of the interlocking “ND” logo in gold. The metallic hue matches the iconic gold helmet and the logo trim is blue.

The state's largest county fair is officially underway. The gates opened Friday morning for the Elkhart County fair in Goshen. The carnival started running at noon and goes until 11 Friday night. The big highlights are singer Tracy Kennedy and a drone show, happening at 9:45 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
