ALBANY, Ga. ( WRBL ) — The Georgia Department of Health’s Southwest Health District (SHD) announced the last day for drive-thru COVID-19 testing at the Dougherty County Health Department will be June 28.

SHD says the Colquitt County Health Department will remain open, and is located at 214 West Central Ave., Moultrie, Georgia.

The drive-thru kiosks provide a test kit that includes two nasal swabs for COVID-19, Influenza
A and Influenza B, along with instructions for how to use the kits. SHD says used test kits are picked up daily and sent to an accredited lab for testing, with most individuals receiving results via email or text within 48 hours of collection.

According to SHD, there is no out-of-pocket cost for tests provided through the kiosks, but insurance will be billed for those with coverage.
