    Alert for missing Moundville teen cancelled

    UPDATE: The missing and endangered person alert for McKinney was cancelled just before 2 p.m. Thursday.

    HALE COUNTY, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A missing and endangered person alert was issued for a 19-year-old man in Moundville Thursday morning.

    The Hale County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating Devin Dynell McKinney. He was last seen around 12:30 a.m. in the area of Hwy 69 in Moundville.

    McKinney could be traveling in a silver or gray 2003 Toyota Camry with an Alabama plate reading 36A0NHB. He is 5’11” and 149 pounds with brown hair and black eyes.

    McKinney may also suffer from condition that impairs his judgement.

    Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of McKinney is asked to call the Hale County Sheriff’s Office at 334-624-9941 or call 911.
