BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Maryland is bracing for near-record breaking heat ahead of strong to severe storms tonight. A heat dome over the region will cause temperatures to jump to the upper 90s and possibly the low 100s. The record high for BWI is 99 set back in 1973. That record could be tied or broken.
