3 shows set for Blackmon Amphitheatre this week

Three concerts are slated for the stage at the Blackmon Amphitheatre this week as part of the annual Surry Arts Council Summer Concert Series.

Jim Quick & Coastline will open the week’s action, weaving together their own genre of music, when they take the stage on Thursday at 7:30 pm

The Entertainers are scheduled to visit the Blackmon on Friday with their own show beginning at 7:30 pm

On Saturday, The Magnificents Band will cap off the weekend with a show also scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Costs for the concerts are $17, or a concert series summer pass. Those attending the shows are encouraged to take a lounge chair or blanket. Coolers and outside drink are not permitted. Concessions will be on sale. To purchase tickets or a summer pass, call 336-786-7998.
