3 shows on tap at Blackmon this week

Three concerts are scheduled to take place at the Blackmon Amphitheatre this week as part of the annual Surry Arts Council Summer Concert Series.

The popular Band of Oz will open the week’s music schedule, with a concert set for Thursday at 7:30 pm

The Konnection will take to the stage at the Blackmon Amphitheatre on Friday, June 21, at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, The Holiday Band will finish the weekend with a show also scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Costs for the concerts are $17, or a concert series summer pass. Those attending the shows are encouraged to take a lounge chair or blanket. Coolers and outside drink are not permitted. Concessions will be on sale. To purchase tickets or a summer pass, call 336-786-7998.
