It will be made by Adams Memorials from Olney, Ill and will take about 45 to 60 days to install. Once that occurs and the new flagpole is put up, Mayor Betty Brian tells Giant FM WAKO News that a formal dedication and ribbon cutting will take place. The city is also ordering a bronze 22″by 18″ plaque that will be placed outside the front of the new City Hall. It is to honor a generous $42,000 donation made by the Charles and Imogene Marx family for sidewalk repairs in the city. The cost is around $1200.
