Wheatland Man Arrested for OWI This Morning
Knox County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Wheatland man this morning after finding him allegedly driving recklessly on Sixth Street in Vincennes. Officers stopped the vehicle driven by 20 year-old Joshua Hertaus (HERT-us). A further investigation found Hertaus driving with intoxicated. He is also charged with minor consumption, and reckless driving. He was booked into the Knox County Jail on four-thousand dollars bond.

She also worked as a cash officer at Walmart. Tina was a member of the American Legion Post 25, Eagles Auxiliary Aerie 361, and VFW Auxiliary Post 4276 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.
Local winery hosts annunal breat cancer awareness wine down
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ill. — Lasata Winery’s annual fundraiser for Think Pink Charity, benefiting breast cancer awareness, was a sea of pink over the weekend. Patrons wore all shades of pink and drank a variety of wine during the Friday Night Wine Down event, where people were able to buy raffle tickets for prizes and participated in two auction items — all money going towards Think Pink Charity. Funds help support women patients and survivors of breast cancer.
