Women’s Soccer Falls to King’s College in Season Opener
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The women's soccer team took a tough 12-0 loss to King's College to open up their season on the road on Saturday afternoon. The Giants only had two shots on goal in the match. One coming from Brooke Freni (Glendora, N.J./Triton Regional) and the other from Abigail Bateman (Edmeston, N.Y./Edmeston Central). Annie Metzger (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) stayed in goal for the whole match and ended the day with 15 saves and 12 goals allowed.

WILKES-BARRE, PA (August 31, 2024) -- The King's College women's soccer team (2-0-0) recorded the most goals scored in a single game in program history Saturday evening against Keystone College (0-1-0) at McCarthy stadium. The Monarchs beat the Giants 12-0, breaking the previous record of 11 against Lincoln in 2005.
