CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. (WCHS) — A woman faces several charges after striking a man with her truck in Chapmanville Saturday morning, according to West Virginia State Police. Troopers responded to a domestic situation on Jimmy Drive where they found Brandon Conley, 57, with a broken leg and bleeding profusely. The trooper applied bandages and a torniquet to control Conley’s bleeding, according to a news release.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -A man turned himself in after a deadly shooting that happened at an apartment complex in Huntington near 6th Avenue and 20th Street on Friday. Woman identified, arrest made after body found in Harts
HAMLIN — West Virginia State Police have released the name of the woman whose body was found on Taunton Way in Harts and an arrest has been made in the case. Marissa Brandjes of Parkersburg was found and later identified by tattoos on her lower calves. State Police had released photos of the tattoos to the public for help identifying the body after the State Medical Examiner’s Office was unable to make a positive identification.
