Mount Pleasant’s Henry nets nearly $6,000 in 2-rodeo weekend
GREELEY, Colo. (KLTV) - Mount Pleasant native Kincade Henry placed twice over the weekend in rodeos for a couple of nice paydays. The 23rd-ranked tie-down roper in the world competed at the Reno Rodeo in Reno, Nevada. Henry finished in sixth place in round one in Reno to earn $1,446. Henry took first place in round one with a time of 7.7 seconds at the Greeley Stampede in Greeley, Colorado. The first place ride earned him $4,402 for a two-rodeo total of $5,848. That brings his season earnings to $34,077.

MoCo Life 910 summer football camp
June 26 and 27, a youth football camp called MoCo Life 910 was held at Montgomery Central High School. A total of 75 kids attended over the course of two days and participated in developmental drills for both football and leadership skills. This camp was free and available for ages 8-18. ROCKINGHAM — A Hamlet man has been sentenced to more than 100 years after being convicted on multiple sex offenses.
