LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– The Lancaster Township is creating its own police force for the first time in several decades. According to the Lancaster Township Board of Supervisors, they will discuss the creation of the new force at their monthly meeting at the Lancaster Township Municipal Building on Maple Avenue tonight, July 15, at 6 p.m.

Motorcyclist dies after crashing into truck on York County road
A 19-year-old man died Saturday after crashing his motorcycle into the back of a Ford pickup truck hauling a trailer in York County, authorities said.
