Gettysburg Foundry site to have hazardous material removed, new sewer installed as part of $2.4 million state rehab project
The site will be redeveloped and prepared for a future employer to set up a business and hire workers. “The Commonwealth is taking steps to make properties like the Gettysburg Foundry site viable and attractive to potential employers,” Mastriano said. “The goal is to get the Gettysburg Foundry site ready so an employer can acquire it, start a new business and staff it with local workers from the community.”

(WHTM) — Two major health care systems have teamed up to provide easy access to personal care and life-saving products. The Health To Go vending machine is outside of the emergency department of UPMC Harrisburg, and it’s one of the first in the state. Among the items in the machine are pregnancy tests, male and female condoms, naloxone, and fentanyl test strips. All of them, free.
