Pittsburgh Pirates select Kettle Run graduate Joe Vogatsky in MLB Draft
Kettle Run graduate Joe Vogatsky was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 19th round Tuesday of the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft June 16. Vogatsky is the seventh James Madison University baseball player to be drafted twice. He was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 14th round of the 2023 draft but opted to return to the Dukes for his senior season.
