HARRISONBURG, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Virginia Association of Broadcasters is sponsoring a team of student journalists from James Madison University at this summer’s political conventions. ARLINGTON, Texas – James Madison defensive lineman Jamree Kromah was selected by the San Antonio Brahmas in the fifth round with the 39th overall pick in the 2024 United Football League College Draft. Kromah capped off his JMU career in 2023 as a HERO Sports Group of Five First Team All-American and First Team All-Sun Belt Conference honoree. Strasburg woman dies in fatal Clarke County car crash
CLARKE COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) - A Strasburg woman died in a car crash July 5, according to new details from the Virginia State Police shared Monday. Madison Satterfield, 22, of Strasburg was a passenger in a single-vehicle crash in Clarke County at the 600 block of Barbour Lane. The driver was Nicholas Ehrhardt, 24, of Berryvile. The two were traveling on private property, when the car attempted a sharp turn and flipped over, according to a VSP press release.
