Ned Gearing and Rhett Miles opened their business in 2019 and have been longtime partners with Harrisonburg Public Works as they work to convert fallen trees downtown into brand new furniture. James Madison Athletics to go cashless for home games
HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Athletics will introduce cashless operations for all home athletics competitions starting with the 2024-25 athletics year. The cashless operations apply to stadium ticketing operations as well as all concessions, which are operated by campus dining vendor, JMU Dining, and stadium bookstore merchandise sales, which are managed by Follett. Fans looking to make purchases at any JMU Athletics events will need to have a debit or credit card accessible.

GREENWOOD, Ind. – James Madison lacrosse senior Katelyn Morgan was recognized as a 2023-24 College Sports Communicators Second Team Academic All-American®, as the organization unveiled its Women's At-Large Team on Tuesday. Morgan becomes the first Academic All-American in three years across all sports and just the 22nd student-athlete in JMU history to garner Academic All-America® status, dating back to 1976. Kettle Run graduate Joe Vogatsky was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 19th round of the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft June 16. Vogatsky is the seventh James Madison University baseball player to be drafted twice. He was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 14th round of the 2023 draft but opted to return to the Dukes for his senior season.
