DOYLESTOWN, PA—The Central Bucks School Board is undergoing more change after one of its members announced her resignation at last night’s meeting. Mariam Mahmud, who represents Region V and serves as vice president, was expected to resign sometime during the summer because she and her family are moving out of the region. False Bomb Threats Toward Warwick Elementary Schools
(Lititz, PA) -- Lancaster County authorities are investigating bomb threats made toward two elementary schools. Officials say false threats were recently made to schools in the Warwick School District. There were no students on campus, but staff inside were evacuated as a precaution. Mechanicsburg native, winemaker says N.J. producer is ‘poised to make a splash’
Winemaker Conor Quilty came in on the ground floor of a planned new winery in Tewksbury Township, New Jersey, in 2021. In the process, the Mechanicsburg native and Cumberland Valley High School grad said that he and owners Frank and Elena Schwab have accomplished plenty, from switching winery names (from Soleiada to Meadowbrook) to getting their licensing approved to finding some retail partners and planting 15 acres of vines on the property in northern Hunterdon County.
