Winner of the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film, the 1977 movie stars Simone Signoret as a former Jewish prostitute and Holocaust survivor living in Paris who now runs a foster home. Her favorite resident is an abandoned Muslim boy from Algeria, who attempts to help Rosa when she gets into a financial bind.

Madame Rosa is rated PG for mature themes and runs for 105 minutes. The film is in French with English subtitles. No registration is required to attend the screening.

The Mount Laurel Library is located at 100 Walt Whitman Avenue.
