    N.C. Pickle Festival costs, benefits questioned by town officials, business owners

    They shouldn’t be paying for vendor fees. No parking in business parking for certain hours to encourage locals to operate properly. If you want to waive fees for a few local businesses to promote hometown would be different. Community vote for them.

    The same goes for Mule Days in Benson. Ask town officials when was the last time they broke, even hosting this event every year.
