Charleston seeing economic impact from USA Cycling Pro Road Championships
CHARLESTON, W.Va –The Capital City is still reaping the rewards from the recent 2024 USA Cycling Pro Road Championships that the city hosted in May. The six-day event that featured over 400 cyclists from nearly every state in the nation, generated an estimated $4.6 million in economic impact, as reported by the City of Charleston and the Charleston Convention & Visitors Bureau on Thursday.
