The Young Reds used a dominant run game to lead them to victory. The Forgotten Five up front controlled the trenches as the Reds had four rushing touchdowns. Wheeling, W. Va. – On Wednesday night, 36 Rugby players from across the country heard their names called during the 2024 Major League Rugby (MLR) Collegiate Draft. In the second round, Wheeling Rugby player Aaron Juma would make program history when he was picked #17 overall by Old Glory DC. He becomes the first Wheeling Rugby player to be drafted into the MLR, and will be the fourth Cardinal ever to suit up for an MLR game.

BARNESVILLE, Ohio — The Drug Enforcement Administration executed a search warrant at Corner Pharmacy in Barnesville on Tuesday evening. EAST LIVERPOOL OH- The Beaver Local Boys Soccer team took on OVAC rival Steubenville Big Red in big time matchup at home on Tuesday night. In a matchup of two of the best teams in the OVAC, the magnitude of the game was very high as both knew a victory would go a long way in the tournament standings. The Beavers came out on a mission as they moved the ball with a purpose and kept the Big Red defense chasing. Beaver Locals Ethan Wood was able to score on a beautiful shot of a pass from teammate Kaleb Mays to give the Beavers an early 1-0 lead. Knowing they needed more offense, the Beavers kept attacking. Senior Johhny Wilson sensing the improtance, was able to keep a ball alive in the offensive zone and found Wood who was able to score once again giving the Beavers a 2-0 lead going into halftime.
