Growing Indian Chain Naan Appetit to Open in Mount Pleasant

It looks like a growing Georgia-based Indian chain is headed to Mount Pleasant.

According to The Post and Courier , Naan at Mt Pleasant LLC has just applied with the South Carolina Department of Revenue for a license to serve beer, wine, and liquor at 915 Houston Northcutt Blvd in Patriots Plaza . This location was home to Little Miss Ha Vietnamese Cuisine until it closed last October.

Sharath Gudla , the registered agent for the LLC, is part-owner of Naan Appetit , a family-run chain with an existing location in North Charleston ( Naan at Northwoods ), two sites in Georgia, and another coming soon to Nexton .

In April, Raj Maganti told What Now Charleston that the eatery is co-owned by two families: the Gudlas and the Magantis . However, he did not provide additional details.

Naan Appetit specializes in authentic Indian cuisine, featuring dishes like samosas, tandoori, and butter chicken, along with vegetarian options.
