CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Dancing on the Cooper has two more events planned for the summer, one of which is scheduled for Friday.

Dancing on the Cooper is a live music series on the Mount Pleasant Pier organized by Charleston County Parks.

County officials say that guests will enjoy the greatest hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s performed by Island Party Band.

The musical celebration will open at 7 p.m. and live music will play until 10 p.m.

After Friday, the last Dancing on the Cooper event is scheduled for September 13 with the Cooper River Band, officials say.

Tickets to Dancing on the Cooper are $10 a person in advance. If not sold out, tickets may also be bought on-site for $15, officials report.

Seating is limited, Charleston County Parks encourages attendees to bring chairs.

Mount Pleasant Pier is located at 71 Harry M. Hallman Jr. Blvd.
