Lane closures on a portion of Hungryneck Blvd to affect traffic

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – Drivers along a busy Mount Pleasant roadway can expect periodic lane closures and increased travel time in the area.

Lanes on Hungryneck Boulevard between the IOP Connector and Belk Drive will affect traffic from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., town officials said. The closures are scheduled for Sunday and the following Monday.

During that time, road crews will work to mill and pave the road segment in the area through flagging operations.

Motorists should plan accordingly and take alternate routes when possible during this period.
