    Senior Chairman Ken Pilgrim, Chairman Lanny Brenner, and the Pilgrim Bank Board of Directors are pleased to announce the promotion of Brad Lowry to President and Chief Lending Officer along with being appointed to the Board of Directors of Pilgrim Bank as an Advisory Director. The promotion was approved by the Board of Directors during their December meeting.

    Lowry joined Pilgrim Bank in March of 2004 as a Management Trainee after graduating from the University of North Texas in Denton in 2003. He has served as Market President and Senior Lending Officer of the bank for several years before later being promoted to Market President and Chief Lending Officer.

    Chief Executive Officer, Brent Woodruff said, “We are excited to announce this well-deserved promotion as part of our ongoing effort to maintain local decision-making and strengthen relationships within the communities we serve, Brad will be instrumental in expanding Pilgrim Bank’s market presence and solidifying our spot as a top-performing bank. He will play an essential role in developing the Bank’s lenders, focusing their efforts on increasing our market share.” Lowry grew up in Mt. Pleasant and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1999. He and his wife, Christi, make their home in Mt. Pleasant and have three children; Kinley, Bradon, and Karli. Lowry is a member of First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant. He is son of long-time Mt. Pleasant residents Don and Bonnie Lowry.

    Lowry is a board member of the MPISD School Foundation and the Mt. Pleasant Youth Baseball Association, and has coached multiple boys’ and girls’ baseball, softball, and basketball teams over the years. Lowry also enjoys rodeo, golf, and hunting.

    Pilgrim Bank, member FDIC, is a stellar retail and commercial lender, serving rural East Texas, North Central Texas and the Panhandle since 1911.
