Silver King Fire reaches 78% containment, perimeter stable
MARYSVALE, Utah (KUTV) — Officials said the Silver King Fire has reached 78% containment at 18,074 acres. The containment was announced Thursday morning. Officials said the perimeter of the fire is stable, meaning personnel have a secure eye on it. This means Thursday night is projected to be the last night shift for personnel, officials said.
City places lien on W. 13th St. property after house demolition
CASPER, Wyo. — The owner of a property on West 13th Street owes the City of Casper more than $12,000. During its regular meeting Tuesday, the Casper City Council authorized placement of a lien for no more than $12,105 against the property at 1342 W. 13th St. for costs relating to asbestos testing and demolition.
Green River’s 2nd “Street Eats” food truck event is tonight
Expedition Island will once again host “Street Eats on the Green,” a family-friendly food truck evening. Tonight’s event, put on by the Green River Parks and Recreation Department, will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This event, now in its second iteration this summer, offers free entry and promises a delightful evening of food, music, and community.
