Contreras homers again with three RBIs to help Cardinals beat Nationals 8-3
WASHINGTON (AP) — Willson Contreras hit his second homer of the series and the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Washington Nationals 8-3 on Sunday. Contreras hit a line drive 395-foot homer off Nationals reliever Derek Law in the seventh. He also singled and scored twice with three RBIs. The two-run shot was his ninth of the season and third homer in the past five days. Contreras said he recently switched from 33.75 inch to 34-inch bat.

Residential Development Coming to South Riding Instead of a Data Center
County leaders last week approved a zoning application to permit 161 homes on land where a data center is a by-right use. The rezoning converted nearly 14 acres from the Planned Development-Housing 4 and Countryside Residential-1 districts to Residential 16 – Affordable Dwelling Unit district. Twenty-one of the 161 homes will be designated as affordable dwelling units.
