Former Alabama defensive back and recent Minnesota Viking draftee Khyree Jackson was killed in an early morning traffic accident in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Jackson was 24. Jackson and two former high school teammates were occupants (Jackson was a passenger) of a vehicle traveling north on Maryland Route 4 when it was struck by another vehicle attempting to change lanes while driving at a high rate of speed. The speeding vehicle struck the vehicle carrying Jackson, forcing it off the highway and into multiple trees. All occupants of Jackson’s vehicle were killed.
