Uno Pizzeria And Grill Announces Closure In Deptford, NJ
I saw this trending on Facebook yesterday and it broke my little former-server heart. Uno's Pizzeria and Grill is officially closing up shop up in Gloucester County. It's been a year of bummer after bummer after bummer regarding restaurant closures in 2024. Seriously, I'm not sure I remember so many restaurants folding in such a short amount of time. Technically, though, that's not what's happening here.
Eagles training camp game ball: DeVonta Smith is still a highlight reel waiting to happen
The Eagles' third practice of training camp on the whole wasn't particularly remarkable. They ran through 11-on-11 and 7-on-7 reps, Jalen Hurts and the offense worked within relatively short-yardage plays, and the defensive units mostly kept those in check to match. It was about as ho-hum as you could get...

Phillies Acquire Angels Closer Carlos Estévez
As first reported by Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the Philadelphia Phillies acquired Los Angeles Angels closer Carlos Estévez in a trade. The Phillies are sending pitching prospects George Klassen and Samuel Aldegheri to the Angels. The Phillies have wanted to add at least one high-leverage relief pitcher for some time. This need came into play even more after the Phillies sent Seranthony Domínguez to the Baltimore Orioles to acquire Austin Hays. Even with the Estévez trade, it would not be surprising to see the Phillies add another high-leverage relief pitcher. The Phillies want to win the World Series, and President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski is willing to do what he feels is necessary to help the team achieve that goal.
