A new Ohio law will require automatic external defibrillators, or AEDs, to be placed in nearly every school or sports and recreation venue in the state, a change prompted by the sudden cardiac arrest of Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin during a Monday Night Football game in Cincinnati last year. Police identify victim killed in overnight shooting; another injured
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — One person has died and another is in the hospital after a shooting in west Columbus early Sunday morning. Columbus police were called to the 300 block of South Glenwood Avenue on a report of a shooting around 1:43 a.m. on Sunday. Officers there found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

However, due to his attendance in the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program, those discussions were put on pause. Now, the 26-year-old Finnish sniper is reportedly cleared to return from the assistance program — via Elliotte Friedman — which means the Blue Jackets have free rein to discuss a trade with other teams.
