State College towing company accused of unlawful practices
A State College towing company and the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office have reached a settlement after four years of ongoing litigation. In 2020, the Commonwealth filed a complaint against Walk’s Service Center for several violations of the Consumer Protection Law, including allegedly imposing additional private fees for vehicle owners to retrieve their vehicles and threatening to tow the vehicle for not paying said ticket.
