FAIRFIELD – Illinois State Police say a Fairfield woman has been arrested on multiple charges in a child manslaughter investigation. ISP’s Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Zone 8, alongside the Fairfield Police Department, announced Wednesday the arrest of 36-year-old Adreian D.A. Loren B. Barker, age 91 of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Loren was born on August 9, 1932, the son of Juel and Eva (Wilson) Barker. He married Janet J. (Boger) Barker on November 9, 1957, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois and she preceded him in death on December 10, 2018, after spending 60 years united in marriage.
