Woman Arrested for Child’s Death, Injuring Another in Wayne County
FAIRFIELD – A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of one child and injuring another in Wayne County. According to Illinois State Police, Fairfield Police contacted ISP’s Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 8 to assist in the death investigation of a 1-year-old boy and the severe injury of a 2-year-old boy in the 1200 block of Illinois Avenue in Fairfield around 7:40 Sunday night.
