Shiloh man killed while driving motorcycle
MANSFIELD, Ohio — A 45-year-old Shiloh man was killed while driving a motorcycle on State Route 96 on Saturday. According the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at 4:05 p.m. when a Dodge Grand Caravan being driven northbound on Ganges Five Points Road by 38-year-old Dustin Smith of Mansfield failed to stop at a stop sign off the right side of State Route 96. Paul Huffman, 45, of Shiloh, was operating a Harley Davison Motorcycle westbound and proceeded to strike the Dodge Grand Caravan.

Edison State Receives Funds for Respiratory Care Program Training Equipment
$900,000 have been secured on behalf of Edison State Community College from the Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies’ Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) Requests for Fiscal Year 2024. Jeneane Lomax Kindinger
Jeneane Lomax Kindinger, age 81, passed away peacefully at home on July 20, 2024 surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Jeneane was born on July 28, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to Ralph and Ruth (Stuff) Lomax but was raised in Mansfield, Ohio where she remained for the rest of her life. Jeneane was a graduate of Mansfield Senior in 1960 and continued into college, where she graduated from Ashland University in 1964, pursuing a career in teaching. She then married the love of her life, Ralph Kindinger, who preceded her in death in 2007 on August 7th, 1965. Jeneane and Ralph met at First Alliance Church, where they remained active members throughout their lives.

Mary Ann Sheafer, 94, a loving and compassionate woman of faith, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024, in Country View of Sunbury. Born November 26, 1929, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Charles Oscar and Eunice Adele (Morrell) Dudt. Following her graduation, Mary Ann married the love of her life, the late Richard Sheafer, with whom she celebrated more than 66 years of marriage prior to his passing.
