Each Monday this summer, we’re taking a look at Northwestern football’s opponents for the upcoming 2024 season. This week, we’re focusing on the Maryland Terrapins, the ‘Cats’ week seven task. The Terps are coming off a streaky season in which they finished with an 8-5 overall record, and a 4-5 record in conference play in the now defunct Big Ten East. Northwestern will head to College Park on October 11, with the game currently scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. CT under the lights.

This allowed the venue to launch with a star-studded celebration of 44 intimate performances featuring high-profile acts such as the Foo Fighters, Parliament-Funkadelic, Maggie Rogers, and members of Wilco and Death Cab for Cutie, among others.
Live Nation Seeks to Move DOJ Antitrust Case to Washington, D.C.
Live Nation Entertainment Inc. is pushing for the Justice Department’s antitrust lawsuit, which seeks to dismantle its merger with Ticketmaster, to be transferred from New York federal court to Washington, DC. Man had nearly $4K in stolen Lululemon merchandise in car, DC police say
WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) arrested a man who had almost $4,000 in stolen Lululemon merchandise. On July 20, officers with the Robbery Suppression Unit were on patrol in the 3400 block of 12th Street area in Northeast D.C. when they saw a car commit a traffic violation.
No charges after crowbar attack and stabbing puts Alexandria brothers in hospital
No charges have been filed against two Alexandria brothers who were hospitalized with serious injuries after a fight in the West End earlier this month. The Alexandria Police Department responded to a stabbing call for service at an apartment in the 500 block of N. Armistead Street on Sunday, July 7. Police arrived and found the brothers on the floor of the apartment, according to a recently released search warrant affidavit.

Shooting claims life of 19-year-old man in Southeast DC: Police
WASHINGTON (7News) — A shooting claimed the life of a man in Southeast, D.C. Sunday afternoon, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Officers said they responded to the 200 block of 37th Place in Southeast, D.C. at around 2:11 p.m. for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, officers said they found a man, later identified as 19-year-old Jerry Hardy III, on the sidewalk suffering from gunshot wounds.
