Fire grows quickly in hills near Echo
The Dikker Hill Fire east of Echo near Coalville was estimated at 200 acres Wednesday night and posing a threat to structures, underground gas lines, and powerlines. The wildfire began around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, and fire officials said it grew quickly though it did not threaten traffic on I-80.
