LOGAN — According to a report from ESPN's Pete Thamel, Utah State football is hiring two new assistant coaches who will work under interim head coach Nate Dreiling this season. The first is Troy Morrell, who will reportedly be the associate head coach and senior offensive analyst. The second is Dave Wiemers who will reportedly take on the role of senior defensive analyst.

Utah boy, 12, 'starved to death after being locked up at home' as messages reveal horror final days
A 12-year-old boy from Utah was found "starved to death" at his father's home after suffering years of suspected abuse, police say. Gavin Peterson was found dead on July 9 after deputies from the Webster County Sheriff's Office were called to his father's home in West Haven as the boy was "not breathing" and had been "vomiting" for days on end.
