Hateful graffiti pops up in Eagle weeks after city's decision to become a non-sanctuary city
EAGLE, Idaho — Tuesday morning, Eagle residents woke up to Vandalism along Floating Feather Road. The graffiti said, "Californians sucks" and "Eagle hates Mexicans." "I was thoroughly disgusted and appalled that we have to deal with this kind of profiling within our own community because we are a very loyal and loving community," Eagle Mayor Brad Pike told KTVB Tuesday.
Boise State renews innovative business program with Vietnamese university
In early July, Boise State and National Economics University (NEU) in Vietnam renewed their “2+2” academic partnership program, strengthening the institutions’ 30-year relationship. The program invites Vietnamese business students to study for two years in Hanoi followed by two years in Boise to earn a Boise State degree. A delegation from Boise State including President Dr. Marlene Tromp and College of Business and Economics Dean Mark Bannister visited Hanoi to meet with NEU leaders, participate in the signing ceremony and meet with students about the program.

Approaching front will cool us down and clear some smoke
CBS2 Boise — A weak front will move in Wednesday afternoon. The Storm Prediction Center believes we'll see a marginal risk of severe weather as the front moves in. At minimum we'll see scattered thunderstorms. At worst, some of the storms will have the potential to be severe in nature. That means we could see gusty winds in excess of 55 mph in parts of the Treasure Valley. There is also a risk of flash flooding in some of the burn scars from recent fires in Harney and Baker County in Oregon. The scattered thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon should help to clear out the smoke just a bit.
